Sunset on the North African coast! I usually never fly in the night, or in low light as that defeats the purpose leisurely sightseeing and discovery. On this leg, however, as I left Algiers onwards to Tunisia, I took the opportunity for a late evening flight on a north-north east heading ( no GPS). It was great to see the lights blinking on, and having lost my visual guides, I followed a lit road as close as possible to the airstrip I had chosen to end this Algeria leg. Must do this again! VFR flying at night following highways is a thrill by itself!
